Indulge yourself in the pleasures of the good life in the countryside of France during three unforgettable days filled with all the things you love! I will welcome you in my home at La Source and a nearby cottage, where we’ll share moments of good food, relaxation and laughter. I have put together a wonderful program for you to see and experience the best of my beautiful region!
All the wonderful things I’ve planned for you
Arrival Day – evening
I will pick you up in Beaune (if you’re not traveling by car) and take you to the cottage where you will be staying. We’ll enjoy what’s called an “apéro dinatoire” in French: a cheese and charcuterie platter for which I have selected the best foods of our region. We’ll get to know each other and softly settle into the slow French country lifestyle!
Day 1
Today I’m taking you brocante shopping! I’ll take you to a few of my favorite places where you’re sure to find the real gems. The drive will take us through the beautiful countryside of Burgundy. We’ll have lunch in a restaurant and will head back to the cottage where we will cook a fresh home cooked meal together (if you prefer to relax, you definitely can, I will make sure there is food on the table!) which we will enjoy together followed by a quiet evening at the cottage.
Day 2
This morning we’ll visit Chateauneuf, a quaint little village with a beautiful chateau on top of a hill. In the afternoon we’re learning all about the Burgundy wines during a tour of the vineyards and we’ll go wine tasting at a local winemaker. After this I will invite you to my home here at La Source where we will cook a lovely meal together which we will enjoy in my cozy kitchen.
Day 3
On our last day we’ll go to the market in Beaune in the morning to shop our fresh produce for today. You will have a few hours of free time to explore the little streets of Beaune, the shops or the famous “Hospices”. We’ll have lunch at the market together. We will spend the afternoon learning to bake French specialties. We’ll spend our final night together at La Source over a home cooked meal after which I will take you back to your cottage.

Departure day
I will drive you from the cottage back to Beaune in the morning if you’re traveling by train.
** Because this is a very busy season in this region, the program may be subject to slight changes. We may spend time and lunch and dinner together at the cottage as well as in my home. Both have a wonderful garden so we’ll enjoy the peacefulness and countryside views either way!
The details
Lunches and dinners as stated in the program above are included (including wine, moderate consumption). Breakfast and snacks outside of the program are not included, although I will make sure there is coffee, tea and some breakfast items available in the cottage.
All activities of the program are included.
You will stay at a nearby cottage that I’ve selected for you as a group. You will be assigned a room mate. If traveling with a friend or spouse, please let me know so I can assign you to the same room (you may be sharing a double bed in this case).
Activities include cooking together. These are a group activity in which we all participate, meaning we do the light clean up of the kitchen afterwards as a group.
All cooking will be vegetarian. Food allergies can unfortunately not be taken into account for this experience.
All transportation in the program is included. Transportation to get from Beaune to the cottage is included as well as transportation from the cottage back to Beaune. There will be a fixed time for the pick up and drop off in Beaune that will be communicated a few weeks prior to the experience. Transportation to get to France is not included (flights, trains, car rental).
I want this experience to be inspiring and restful for you at the same time. You have the option to opt-out of certain activities if you prefer to have some more quiet time. However if you choose to opt-out of certain activities you will still pay the full amount for the experience.
We’ll do a 1 to 1 Zoom call to prepare your experience and in which I can advise on travel options.
